We have a very special, supportive membership, which cares about each other in a way that you can't find in larger congregations. "The people are friendly, they really care." "The preaching provides me with encouragement and stimulation for daily living." "It’s a time when my children and I can both learn more about God." Every Sunday morning at 9:15 we gather to worship God and to share in Christian fellowship.         Through our Sunday School, we provide religious training for both preschool and school age children. Nursery care is also provided. Women in our church find support and opportunity for service through monthly meetings of Women's Group. Every Sunday evening teenagers from Salem, Derry, and the surrounding community meet for recreation, reflection, and refreshments in our United Methodist Youth Fellowship. Like so many others, these people have found a caring, welcome atmosphere where they can acquire a practical Christian faith, and grow in that faith.   Through its many activities and programs, North Salem United Methodist Church tries to meet the needs of today’s family.These are just some of the reasons why people have been coming to North Salem United Methodist Church.   North Salem United Methodist Church is also involved in our community, state, nation, and world.
