Missions & Ministry Care Packages and Support for our Military Service Members Through our membership in the Greater Salem Council of Churches, we work very closely with other Christian churches in town to make Salem a better place to live. We are also members of the New Hampshire Conference of the United Methodist Church. Through our Conference, North Salem United Methodist Church supports missions, schools, hospitals, evangelism, and many other worthwhile causes, both in New Hampshire and in the world. We have donated money to the Epworth UMC for their ministry for providing medicines to the needy. Lazarus House Ministries Donate to the Lazarus House using the helping.org donation service (credit cards). Visit the Lazarus House web page at http://www.lazarushouse.org/ North Salem UMC works with Lazarus House Ministries of Lawrence to strike out against hunger and homelessness in the Merrimack Valley. Collections of nonperishable food and clothing are done the first Sunday of every month to support this mission. Cash donations to Lazarus House through our church are always welcome. Send to: North Salem United Methodist Church PO Box 206 North Salem, NH 03073 DID YOU KNOW: $10.00 provides dinner for 4 people. $25:00 provides shelter for a person for one night. $50:00 allows us to provide parenting, nutrition and/or English as a Second Language classes to the many who need them. $100:00 provides dental care supplies to many who are not afforded the luxury of these items on a regular basis. $300:00 allows us to provide a place to sleep, food to eat, laundry and shower facilities for a one year period for those in need. $750:00 provides a lunch for 300 guests at our soup kitchen which is open 7 days a week.
